We are hiring a talented Software Engineer to develop an automation for SOC, NiC, and Switch cards Emulation. This includes device characterization for power, performance and logic correctness.Working in the Network Silicon Engineering group, you will be responsible for Validation & debug of all current and future SOC silicon devices at NVIDIA. Work as part of a team with logic design, circuit design, and architects to ensure successful product development with aggressive product cycles. The qualified candidate should be comfortable in an SW simulation environment and should demonstrate a passion for the creation, execution, and improvement of silicon validation plans. What you will be doing: * You will learn the system-level operation, develop SW for use cases of power/performance/architecture paths of our next generation products. * Collaborate freely across diverse teams and take advantage of already developed tools and processes * Design and execute experiments and data acquisition, with a view towards automation of repetitive tasks * Debug pre-si system failures of NVIDIA SOC, NiC & Switch HW products What we need to see: * B.Sc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent * 3+ years of experience * Proficient in Python and experienced with C and C++ in a Linux environment * Outstanding ability to communicate, clearly present one's ideas, and able to work as a team Ways to stand out from the crowd: * Passionate about experimental work and data evaluation, hunger to get to the bottom of understanding where models fall short in the real world * Experience with Operating system * Knowledge in network protocols * Experience with Object Oriented Programming NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers with some of the most forward-thinking, inventive, and hardworking people working here - we need your help to build our future.
