Role Description

Join Chipmind as a full-time on-site Chip Design Intern and gain hands-on experience in building cutting-edge AI solutions for chip development. Rather than designing RTL directly, you’ll focus on leveraging and improving our AI models and agents, creating meaningful RTL design tasks to challenge and evaluate them, as well as integrating them with EDA tools. Responsibilities

Design and curate meaningful RTL design tasks to evaluate and improve our AI-assisted EDA tools.
Analyze the behavior of our tools across a wide range of digital design scenarios, identifying strengths, limitations, and opportunities for enhancement.
Collaborate on integrating our tools with existing EDA workflows, helping bridge the gap between AI-driven automation and traditional design processes.
Support the development and enhancement of LLMs and AI agents, including tasks related to data preparation and model evaluation.
Work closely with chip design and software engineers to iteratively refine tool behavior and user experience from a digital designer’s perspective.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a relevant degree in Electrical Engineering with coursework or experience in digital RTL design.
Familiarity with SystemVerilog, VHDL is a plus.
Working knowledge of Python
Curiosity about AI technologies and enthusiasm for exploring their application in the hardware design space — no prior experience in ML required.
Eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative team environment.
