Responsibilities

As the Chief Technology Officer, you will:

• Ensure platform reliability and security by maintaining a robust, secure, and high-quality platform.
• Maximize operational efficiency through automation to reduce repetitive tasks and enhance focus on high-value activities.
• Drive efficient use of development resources by maintaining an updated product and technology roadmap and fostering a positive engineering culture.
• Execute technology strategy to achieve business goals, ensuring technology initiatives meet strategic objectives.
• Build a culture of excellence that values innovation, ownership, and growth among developers.
• Deliver ambitious goals with precision and urgency, aligning the team with market demands and organizational priorities.

Requirements

To fit into enspired, you should:

• Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a related role, preferably in energy, financial, or commodity trading sectors.
• Have prior experience leading a team of experts.
• Possess proven experience in 24/7 low latency architectures (highly beneficial).
• Demonstrate the ability to challenge the status quo and drive technological improvements while managing resources effectively.
• Showcase a track record of executing technology strategies that align with business objectives and foster growth.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, promoting collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.
• Be based in or near Vienna, or be open to relocation.
• Be fluent in both German and English.
• Have a curious personality with a good sense of humor.
