Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Chief Scientific Officer, based in Singapore with flexibility for partial remote work. The Chief Scientific Officer will lead the strategy and execution of the company's research and development initiatives in the field of organoid technologies and precision medicine. Responsibilities include overseeing scientific teams, directing lab operations, guiding key research projects, fostering collaboration with academic and industry partners, and shaping the scientific roadmap to align with organizational goals. The role also involves monitoring emerging trends, securing research funding, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
Qualifications
Strong background in Research and Development (R&D) and expertise in research methodologies related to biotechnology and organoid sciences.
Deep understanding of scientific principles in biology, medicine, and relevant areas of the life sciences.
Proficiency in Laboratory Skills, including hands-on experience with organoid culture, automation technologies, and experimental optimization.
Exceptional leadership, management, and strategic decision-making abilities to guide multidisciplinary scientific teams.
Prior experience in leading high-level scientific roles in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.
Advanced academic qualifications such as a Ph.D. in Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine, or a related field, with a proven research track record.
Excellent communication skills and an ability to foster partnerships with academic institutions, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders.
A passion for precision medicine and the role of AI-driven organoid design in shaping the future of therapeutics development.
