On behalf of our client, a leading provider of offshore support vessels, we are seeking a motivated Chartering Assistant to support West Africa operations. Reporting to the Commercial Manager – Africa, you will provide day-to-day commercial support in contract administration, tender coordination, and data management, with clear growth into customer-facing chartering and spot vessel handling.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain the Contract Management System (recording & tracking charters with full documentation)
• Assist with tender preparation and submission, coordinating with internal teams
• Liaise with brokers, clients, and Operations on documentation and vessel availability
• Produce commercial reports and spreadsheets
• Support contract administration and pricing analysis
• Grow into managing spot requirements and direct client interactions

What they’re looking for:

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong communication and commercial awareness
• Proactive and flexible attitude
• Bid/tender or commercial experience (advantageous)
• Relevant degree preferred
• Offshore/marine background beneficial but not essential. Commitment to QHSE & Security required.
