Role Overview
We are looking for a
Research Scientist
to support cellular functional assays development and testing
to create a revolutionary therapeutic tool for the treatment of a wide range immunological and neuroinflammatory disorders.
The position is suitable for motivated
MSc- or PhD-qualified scientists
with strong hands-on laboratory skills and interest in advanced biologics R&D workflows.
Core responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct project-specific
cell biology research tasks and immune measurements
(hands-on work and collaboration with assistants/technicians).
- Design and development of innovative new in vitro preclinical R&D models
including
genetically modified cell lines,
.
Required qualifications:
- MSc or PhD degree
in cell biology, medicine, pharmacology, biomedical engineering, or other in a biomedical discipline.
- Solid background in cell biology and immunological assays
- Hands-on laboratory experience
in an academic or industry research environment
- Ability to
work independently
, recognize technical problems and clear results communication
Personal attributes:
Preferred qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with immune- and fluorescence-based assays (FACS)
- Cell line generation and molecular biology techniques.
- Experience in working with primary blood derived cells
