• Lead the Capture and Proposal function overseeing complex and strategic tenders ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks including ASDEFCON
• Develop and implement best practice systems, processes and procedures for bidding and proposal
• Provide strategic capture support, governance and best practice to optimise bid success rates
• Collaborate with business units to refine campaign strategies, capture planning and bid execution
• Drive professional development initiatives in bid management, proposal development, and strategic capture disciplines
• Act as a governance authority for tender responses, cost and pricing models
• Market research and monitoring of strategic tenders that will contribute to Aurizn’s growth
• Contribute to proposal strategy and assist and oversee the team as they develop workplans and schedules
• Quality control of all bids and tenders produced by function

What we are looking for:

• Australian citizen and must be eligible to hold or currently possess a NV1 Security Clearance.
• Proven leadership experience in capture and bid management
• Experience within the Defence industry and exposure to ASDEFCON frameworks
• Ability to role up sleeves, and design Capture and Proposal frameworks fit for business and positioned for scale
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Initiative and a desire to challenge yourself and continuously improve
• Budget management and forecasting experience
• Strong commercial acumen
