We are partnering with a global container shipping company to hire a Capacity Management Executive . This role is responsible for managing vessel utilization, space allocation, and cargo flow optimization across the network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor booking trends and cargo forecasts to maximize vessel utilization and load factors
• Plan and manage medium-term space allocation, ensuring optimal balance of laden and empty containers in line with equipment strategies
• Coordinate closely with Trade, Commercial, Operations, and Planning teams on cargo routing, loading plans, and vessel optimization
• Analyze cargo flow, port performance, and operational reports to support decision-making and improve efficiency
• Proactively manage disruptions (e.g. port omissions, schedule changes, void sailings) and implement effective cargo recovery solutions
• Drive cost optimization through forward planning and efficient operational responses
• Support team leadership responsibilities, including coaching, training, and contributing to team development
• Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and cross-functional initiatives to improve cargo flow efficiency

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or a related industry
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good command of MS Office tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
