Role Description

In this critical role, you'll play a pivotal role in building and maintaining the robust systems and infrastructure that powers our data intensive bioinformatics platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy (rack and cable) new server and infrastructure hardware in data center locations.
• Perform hardware break/fix activities including replacement of drives, RAM, CPUs, GPUs, power supplies, and other server components.
• Troubleshoot and support existing infrastructure to ensure production environments remain stable and operational.
• Maintain accurate asset inventory and lifecycle tracking records.
• Assist in documenting and refining operational processes and procedures.
• Support structured cabling activities to ensure installations meet defined standards.
• Execute approved change activities in live production environments in accordance with change management procedures.
• Provide on-site support during deployments and maintenance windows.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working in a production data center environment.
• Experience in telecommunications or network infrastructure.
• Experience with cable installation and management.
• Hands-on experience deploying and supporting server hardware.
• Experience replacing hardware components such as drives, RAM, CPUs, GPUs, motherboards, and power supplies.
• Familiarity with asset management tracking and reporting.
