Position Overview
We’re hiring a
Business Operations Analyst
with a background in
law, consulting, or finance
to support the operational and compliance foundation of SemiAnalysis. This role is well-suited for candidates who have experience in legal environments (e.g., paralegal work, legal research, law school exposure, or LSAT-track candidates) and are looking to apply that rigor in a broader business context.
You will work across finance, legal coordination, and internal operations—helping manage contracts, compliance processes, vendor relationships, and internal systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, structured thinking, and the ability to manage complex workflows across multiple stakeholders.
This is a full-time role based in the United States.
What You’ll Do
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience
in legal, consulting, finance, or business operations roles.
- Background in
law or legal-adjacent work
(e.g., paralegal experience, legal internships, law school coursework, or LSAT track) is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, Political Science, Pre-Law, or a related field.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage structured processes with high accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to track multiple deadlines and workflows.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with contracts, compliance workflows, or legal documentation.
- Familiarity with corporate filings, entity management, or regulatory requirements.
- Exposure to financial operations such as budgeting, expense tracking, or vendor payments.
- Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
