Business Growth Executive
Location: Cape Town / Johannesburg (Hybrid)
Role Purpose
The Business Growth Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding OGT’s professional services footprint through strategic sales and marketing initiatives. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, strengthening existing client relationships, and supporting brand positioning within the professional services market.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
· Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities aligned to OGT’s service offerings
· Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline across target markets and industries
· Lead client engagements from initial contact through proposal, negotiation, and closure
· Develop tailored proposals, presentations, and commercial models for professional services engagements
· Achieve agreed revenue and growth targets
Client Relationship Management
· Strengthen relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and account expansion
· Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business challenges and growth objectives
· Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth handover and ongoing client satisfaction
Marketing & Brand Enablement
· Support marketing initiatives to enhance OGT’s brand presence and market positioning
· Contribute to thought leadership, case studies, and sales enablement material
· Work closely with marketing partners on campaigns, events, and digital presence
· Provide market insights to inform service offerings and go-to-market strategies
Strategic & Internal Collaboration
· Partner with leadership to refine growth strategies and sales priorities
· Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, forecasting, and CRM updates
· Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs
· Support internal initiatives aimed at improving sales effectiveness and customer engagement
Key Skills & Experience
· Proven experience in sales and/or marketing within professional services (consulting, IT services, or similar)
· Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop and close complex service-based deals
· Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
· Confident presenter with strong written and verbal communication abilities
· Experience working with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
