Akilaris builds a Space Intelligence Platform that helps satellite operators stay safe in orbit. Space is getting crowded fast — and avoiding collisions is becoming mission-critical. We combine real-time tracking, predictive analytics, and automated collision avoidance to help operators reduce risk, save fuel, and keep their services running reliably.
We’re based in Bremen and work worldwide — from early-stage teams to large constellations. Our goal is simple: make space operations safer and more scalable.
The role
We’re looking for a working student / part-time Business Development Specialist who wants real responsibility, fast learning, and measurable impact.
You’ll help us:
• find the right customers (not just “more leads”)
• understand what they actually need
• turn conversations into qualified opportunities
This is a hybrid role in Bremen , with flexibility to work from home.
What you’ll do (day to day)
• Research and map target markets
• Build lead lists and run structured outreach (email/LinkedIn/events)
• Qualify inbound/outbound leads (quick discovery calls, notes, next steps)
• Keep our pipeline clean and up to date (CRM discipline matters)
• Help shape messaging: positioning, email copy, pitch angles, objections
• Support partnerships and strategic opportunities when they arise
What we’re looking for (A++ players)
We care more about drive + clarity + execution than a perfect CV.
You’re a strong fit if you have:
• Very solid written + spoken communication (German and/or English)
• A structured, analytical way of thinking (you enjoy figuring out “what works”)
• Hands-on experience with lead gen or the motivation to learn it fast
• The ability to work independently, reliably, and proactively
• Comfort talking to people (or the willingness to build that skill quickly)
Nice to have (not required):
• Interest in space, aerospace, or deep tech
• Prior startup, sales, or consulting experience
• Familiarity with CRMs, LinkedIn Sales Nav, Apollo, HubSpot, etc.
