Birdstop systems actively serve our nation's critical infrastructure and public safety organizations with rapid response capabilities.
Role
This role owns outbound pipeline creation for Birdstop’s enterprise and government business. You will be responsible for researching target accounts, identifying the correct stakeholders, initiating cold outbound conversations, and converting those conversations into qualified sales opportunities. You will work closely with the sales team and senior leadership on the strategy, execution, and measurement of Birdstop’s outbound motion. This role is outbound-first and self-directed. If you are looking for inbound leads, scripts, or a fully built playbook, this is not the role.
This position will begin as a short-term contract engagement and may convert to full-time employment based on demonstrated performance. This role is measured on outbound activity consistency and qualified opportunities created.
Candidate
We are looking for a candidate who is highly biased toward action and comfortable with the rejection inherent in cold outbound sales. The ideal candidate is accustomed to hitting the ground running with minimal structure or enablement and has demonstrated this through a track record of high outbound-driven activity in lean, fast-moving organizations. This person moves quickly and responds with urgency (measured in minutes and hours, not days) and is comfortable operating independently while coordinating closely with teammates. The role requires strong judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to think strategically while using data and metrics to inform decisions and iterate outbound strategy. Prior experience selling into enterprise or government customers, as well as familiarity with the industries and technologies relevant to Birdstop’s business, is strongly preferred.
