Job Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for winning new EmpowerSuite customers across an assigned territory. This is a full-cycle role from prospecting and pipeline development through close and expansion. The Business Development Manager sells directly into health systems, IDNs, teleradiology groups, and radiology practices while working alongside channel and VAR partners to accelerate pipeline and expand NewVue’s reach. This person stays close to the market, brings competitive and customer intelligence back to the team, and collaborates with marketing, product, and customer success to move the business forward. This person operates with urgency, brings a point of view to every customer interaction, and thrives in a high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities
Territory Sales Execution
- Own a territory and drive new logo revenue across health systems, IDNs, teleradiology groups, and radiology practices
- Build and maintain strong pipeline through direct outbound, networking, and inbound lead follow-up
- Conduct discovery, run demos, and close new business to meet and exceed annual quota
- Sell to clinical, IT, and financial buyers and know how to engage each one differently
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals with long cycles and high stakes decisions
- Develop executive level relationships and account plans across target accounts
- Co-sell alongside channel and VAR partners to accelerate pipeline and expand NewVue’s reach
Sales Process and Infrastructure
- Maintain CRM discipline with accurate pipeline data, stage hygiene, and forecast inputs
- Provide input on pricing, proposal templates, and deal structure as needed
Market Intelligence
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs
- Share insights with marketing and product teams to inform positioning and roadmap
- Attend industry conferences, webinars, and events to represent NewVue and gather market feedback
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Marketing on campaigns, events, and outreach to support territory pipeline
- Feed prospect and customer feedback to Product to influence roadmap priorities
- Partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth handoff and reference development
Qualifications
- 4-8 years selling enterprise software into health systems, radiology, or healthcare IT
- Proven track record closing six and seven figure deals with 6-12 month sales cycles
- Consistently builds and maintains strong pipeline
- Expert at navigating complex enterprise sales across multiple stakeholders, long cycles, and high stakes decisions
