Digital Direction is a dynamic marketing and media agency based in Dubai. We act as the compass for brands looking to navigate the modern digital landscape. From creative strategies and social media management to performance marketing and media buying, we provide results-driven solutions that help businesses grow. We are currently expanding our footprint in the UAE and are looking for a hungry, results-oriented Business Developer to lead our sales efforts.

The Role

We are seeking a  Business Development Manager  with a "hunter" mindset. In this role, you will be the face of Digital Direction to prospective clients. Your primary objective is to identify new business opportunities, pitch our suite of marketing services to decision-makers, and close deals that drive revenue growth.

You must be comfortable navigating the Dubai/GCC market, networking at industry events, and managing the entire sales cycle from cold outreach to contract signature.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prospecting & Lead Generation

• Identify and research potential clients in target industries (Real Estate, Hospitality, E-commerce, Tech, etc.) across the UAE.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cold calling, email outreach, and networking.
• Attend industry networking events and conferences in Dubai to represent Digital Direction.

2. Pitching & Proposals

• Conduct discovery calls to understand client pain points and marketing goals.
• Collaborate with the creative and technical teams to build tailored proposals and pitch decks that solve client problems.
• Present pitching strategies to C-level executives and Marketing Directors with confidence and clarity.

3. Negotiation & Closing

• Lead commercial negotiations to ensure profitable deal structures for the agency.
• Close monthly retainers and project-based contracts to meet and exceed individual sales targets (KPIs).
• Ensure a smooth handover of signed clients to the Account Management team.

4. Market Intelligence

• Stay updated on the latest trends in digital marketing, social media, and media buying.
• Monitor competitor activities and pricing strategies in the local market to keep Digital Direction competitive.

Requirements

Must-Haves:

• Experience:  Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Sales or Business Development, specifically within a  Marketing Agency, Media House, or Digital Consultancy .
• Local Knowledge:  Strong understanding of the Dubai/UAE business landscape.
• Proven Track Record:  Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas (please be prepared to discuss your past figures).

Nice-to-Haves:

• Fluency in Arabic is a strong plus.
• Existing network of contacts or relationships with marketing decision-makers in the UAE.
