Job Description / Essential Functions
Our client is seeking a sales professional to drive aftermarket and capital equipment revenue. This role combines technical expertise, process knowledge, and strong commercial acumen to identify opportunities, solve customer challenges, and deliver high-value solutions. Success requires a proactive, relationship-driven approach focused on growth, service, and long-term customer value.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to grow aftermarket revenue (parts, service, upgrades) while identifying and advancing capital equipment opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including forecasting, pipeline development, performance tracking, and CRM data management.
- Build and expand strategic customer relationships through regular engagement, uncovering needs, and driving account growth and retention.
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and market-facing activities such as customer visits and industry events.
- Lead pricing and commercial strategy, including margin management, competitive benchmarking, and profitability oversight.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform sales strategy and identify new opportunities.
- Partner cross-functionally to align sales efforts with operational priorities and support capital sales with customer insights and installed base knowledge.
- Serve as an escalation point for key customer issues, ensuring timely resolution and strong service delivery.
- Provide reporting and insights on pipeline, KPIs, and overall sales performance to leadership.

Education and Experience
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of two years of outside sales experience in a manufacturing or capital equipment environment.
- Experience selling capital equipment strongly preferred.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in challenging customer situations.
Travel Required: 50-70%
Compensation is $75,000-$85,000 DOE with additional commission potential
