Air pollution takes more than 7 Million lives globally every single year. Over 5% of premature children's deaths occur due to air pollution in developing countries. Everyone has relied on governments or experts to solve the problem, but most solutions up until today have either been too expensive or too ineffective. Praan is an attempt at making the future cleaner, healthier, and safer for the generations to come.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and polished Business Development Manager to drive brand presence, build strong market relationships, and generate high-value opportunities in the Delhi and Mumbai regions. The ideal candidate is well-connected, proactive, and deeply familiar with the interior design ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Sales
● Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
● Strategically grow the brand’s footprint through partnerships with architects, interior designers, PMCs, and luxury design firms.
● Regularly engage with HNIs, luxury homeowners, influencers, and key decision-makers to promote Praan’s offerings.
● Create and execute region-specific sales plans aligned with company objectives. Client Relationship Management
● Build and nurture long-term relationships with architects, designers, and high-end clients.
● Conduct product presentations, design consultations, and client meetings with a polished, professional presence.
● Maintain a deep understanding of ongoing and upcoming projects within the design community. Market Intelligence & Brand Representation
● Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects within the interior and luxury lifestyle sectors.
● Represent Praan at industry events, exhibitions, and networking platforms to enhance brand visibility.
● Provide actionable market insights to management to shape product and business strategies. Operational & Cross-functional Collaboration
● Work closely with the design, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of client requirements.
● Monitor end-to-end project progress and maintain accountability for timely conversions and deliveries.
● Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions through CRM tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
● 4–5 years of experience in business development, ideally within interiors, luxury products, furniture, or architecture-related industries.
● Strong existing connects with architects, interior designers, and HNI networks in Delhi or Mumbai.
● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with a polished and articulate demeanor. ● Deep understanding of the interior design ecosystem, project cycles, and decision-making hierarchies.
● Highly self-driven, enthusiastic, target-oriented, and capable of taking complete ownership of the region. ● Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building abilities. Ability to work independently while aligning with company goals.
