The Role

On behalf of a global leader in the maritime sector, we are seeking a high-caliber Business Development Manager to spearhead commercial growth within the Indonesian market. This is a strategic appointment for a professional who can navigate the complexities of the Marine and Offshore industries, converting technical excellence into sustainable market share.

The successful candidate will act as the primary commercial driver for the region, identifying emerging revenue streams and fostering high-level partnerships across the Indonesian maritime landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Market Expansion: Design and implement a comprehensive sales and market-access strategy tailored specifically to the Indonesian Marine & Offshore sectors.
High-Impact Business Development: Proactively identify new project opportunities and lead the sales funnel from initial lead generation through to final contract execution.
Stakeholder Diplomacy: Build and maintain influential relationships with ship owners, shipyards, oil and gas majors, and strategic industry partners.
Full-Cycle Commercial Oversight: Manage the preparation of complex proposals and quotations, ensuring accuracy in contract documentation and financial reconciliation.
Technical Advocacy: Deliver high-level presentations and lead technical seminars to position the firm as a thought leader in the region.
Cross-Border Collaboration: Work closely with international and zone-level teams to align local initiatives with global business objectives.

Candidate Requirements

Technical Foundation: A University Degree in Engineering , specifically within the Marine or Offshore fields.
Industry Experience: Minimum of 8 years of total experience in the maritime sector (e.g., shipyards, classification societies, ship brokers, or offshore energy).
