We “Weave” every piece in the stochastic flight operation by resolving the complexity of data. Our product Weave assists the flight operation team's decision-making, reducing cognitive workload. With this, they can achieve a new level of operational efficiency, while offloading cumbersome tasks to Weave, and retaining command of critical decision-making with reduced carbon emissions. Founded in 2021, we are now expanding our team and seeking exceptional individuals to join us at this early venture stage as we target the global market.

Job Description

As a key driver of product growth, you will be responsible for everything from market analysis to strategy development and execution. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will collaborate closely with other departments (particularly Product Development) to lead the company’s non-linear growth. You will be entrusted with scaling the business from “1 to 10.” In the near term, the primary focus markets will be Asia and the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Strategy & Planning

• Identify new business opportunities through market research and competitive analysis
• Develop and execute mid-to-long-term business strategies and plans
• Propose and evaluate new business initiatives and product features (feasibility studies)
• Define, monitor, and improve business KPIs to achieve targets
• Develop and implement pricing strategies

2. Growth of Existing Business

• Deepen relationships with existing clients to generate upsell and cross-sell opportunities
• Maximize customer success and satisfaction
• Create case studies and best practices to drive adoption and replication

Required Qualifications

• Candidates should meet at least one of the following requirements:
• Experience in business development within the IT industry
• Experience as a consultant supporting or advising clients in business development
• Business-level English proficiency
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to act proactively

Preferred Qualifications

• Enjoys meeting and speaking with new people
• Japanese proficiency is a plus
• Internal communication is conducted in both English and Japanese, with English being the primary language in open channels and meetings

Salary

6 to 8 million JPY or more per annum (*Final salary will be decided based on ability and experience)

Working Condition

・Working schedules in accordance with Japanese law

・Weekend off (Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays)

・Paid vacations, Year-end, and New Year vacations, sick and bereavement leave available

・Completed enrollment in the Japanese Social Insurance System

・Visa support available (if needed)

・Use of office space with focus booths is available if desired

・No specific dress code, but appropriate casual/business casual attire is required for external communications, including videoconference
