We’re entering the next phase of scale and seeking a dynamic Senior sales performer to join our US sales team, for our class leading Agentic AI EHS platform, who brings strong EHS sales expertise together with a customer-centric, outcomes-focused approach to revenue growth.
With a culture that’s all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, the Business Development Manager will drive sales execution to our mid to large Enterprise market, ranging from manufacturing, construction, transportation Food & Beverage Manufacturing.
This is a strategic role that works closely with the broader US field organization to ensure the successful customer adoption of SoterAI’s EHS solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Sales & Revenue Contribution
Achieve pipeline generation and revenue targets for allocated targets and/or territory on a quarterly and annual basis by developing and maintaining a healthy pipeline and guiding customers through end-to-end sales cycles, from discovery through agreement
Execute tailored sales plays to capture market opportunities, helping customers optimize their use of SoterAI's platform.
Create thoughtful account plans and territory strategies in partnership with internal teams, while maintaining accurate forecasting using CRM tools.
Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and executive stakeholders through a consultative, collaborative approach.
Collaborate with customers to identify and qualify high-impact use cases aligned to their business priorities and strategic objectives.
Sales & Solution Advisory
Act as a trusted advisor on SoterAI EHS solutions, helping customers understand potential outcomes, value, and return on investment.
Working closely with customer success in leading the discovery sessions and contribute to demonstrations, proofs of concept, and solution design, including model selection, fine-tuning, and deployment approaches.
Customer Engagement & Market Development
Share customer insights and feedback with the SoterAI product teams to help inform product direction and improvements.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
10+ years of professional experience and at least 6 years sales experience with consistently exceeding sales objectives, selling EHS solutions and software products.
A strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in highly competitive markets
A familiarity with solution-based approach to selling, have experience managing a complex sales process and possessing excellent presentation and listening skills, organization and contact management capabilities.
Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships
Strong presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging with senior executives and key decision-makers at both technical and business levels.
In-depth EHS knowledge with our key markets, with proven expertise in driving successful sales initiatives within these domains.
Strong ability to work across cross-functional teams including Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing, and Products.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
This role is eligible to participate in Soter’s commission plan and it is common for employees in this role to receive total on-target earnings of $250,000 - $303,750. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Soter’s equity plan.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 22 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave benefits.
