Role Overview
As we continue to expand in Malaysia, we are seeking a driven and dynamic Business Development Executive
to support our growth across the smart building, physical security, and smart data center markets. If you are passionate about solution selling, technology, and building strong customer relationships, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management & Business Development
· Client Relationship Ownership: Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts within the commercial real estate, M&E contractors, and data center ecosystem, ensuring strong client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
· Industry Network Leverage: Actively engage and expand relationships with developers, consultants, main contractors, M&E contractors, and system integrators to drive project opportunities.
· Pipeline Development: Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across office buildings, mixed developments, and data center projects through strategic networking and market intelligence.
· Solution Scoping: Participate in client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions to capture requirements and collaborate with internal engineering teams to propose integrated AIoT and smart building solutions.
· Solution Positioning: Develop strong knowledge of DeltaFrontier’s AIoT solutions (smart access, smart workspace, video analytics, and building integration systems) and position them effectively to both technical and business stakeholders.
· Pre-Sales Engagement: Work closely with pre-sales and engineering teams to deliver proposals, tender submissions, RFP responses, and system design concepts aligned with project specifications.
· Project Lifecycle Support: Coordinate across stakeholders including consultants, M&E teams, and project managers from design stage through deployment to ensure smooth execution.
· Specification Development: Engage early with consultants and developers to drive product specification and inclusion in project tenders.
Qualifications & Requirements
· Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), Building Services, Information Technology, Business, or related fields.
Experience:
· Industry Exposure (Highly Preferred): Familiarity with M&E systems, ELV systems (CCTV, access control, BMS), or structured cabling/network infrastructure
Exposure to project-based sales cycles and tender processes
Existing network with developers, consultants, contractors, or data center operators is a strong advantage
Excellent command of English (written & verbal)
Ability to engage both technical stakeholders (engineers, consultants) and business leaders (C-suite, developers)
