The Role:

Flyby Robotics is seeking a BD hire to advance our business with US-based enterprise drone customers, including critical infrastructure, construction, and university research. You will work with a cutting-edge technical team to secure new business lines, identifying opportunities and growing them into stable customers throughout all phases of the sales cycle. This is a unique opportunity to lead a fast-growing team and accelerate the American-made unmanned systems industry as a whole.

Our company is a team of engineers from Yale University, NASA JPL, NVIDIA, and U.S. Naval Air Command at our Culver City production facility. You’ll be working directly with the CEO to manage complex sales cycles from prospecting, closing, and expansion. You’ll take direct ownership of communicating customer needs with engineering to achieve successful customer evaluations and deployments.

Core Requirements:

• 2 years of successful enterprise sales experience in hardware, robotics, industrial, or drone technology.
• Proven prior history of closing high-value deals with enterprise customers.
• Extensive experience with customer forecasting and pipeline management.
• Ability to establish and leverage key relationships with existing stakeholders in critical infrastructure, construction, and university research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in translating complex technical ideas to compelling presentations with senior-level decision makers.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $100,000 per year base salary.

This position can be hybrid. If on a hybrid schedule, a minimum of 3 days onsite per week is expected. The location for this role, if hybrid, is Flyby Robotics’ HQ in Culver City, Los Angeles.
