At MapMortar, we have built the capital planning infrastructure for real estate in the climate transition.
Real estate portfolios must make trillion-dollar decisions to decarbonise, manage climate risk and protect asset value. Today, most of those decisions are still made using static reports, spreadsheets and fragmented engineering advice.
MapMortar changes that.
Our agentic modelling technology, developed with University College London, combines physics-based building intelligence with AI to help asset managers, consultants and owners understand financial outcomes, physical feasibility and transition risk across entire portfolios.
We are looking for a Building Performance Engineer who wants to do more than run simulations, someone who wants to shape how those simulations become the foundation of an industry-grade platform.
About the Role
This role sits at the intersection of building-performance engineering and product development.
You will deliver modelling work across live projects and internal initiatives, collaborating closely with our product and engineering teams to refine logic, test new capabilities and embed engineering intelligence into the MapMortar platform.
The work is technical and independent. You will need strong engineering judgment, the ability to communicate complex outputs clearly, and genuine curiosity about how software and AI can elevate what building performance engineering can do.
