Our flagship solution, AIR-DS Lung, identifies early-stage lung cancer using a simple cheek swab paired with advanced spectral signatures and explainable machine learning, delivering over 90% accuracy using existing laboratory infrastructure.

Over the past quarter, Sierra has entered its most significant expansion phase:

• IRB approval secured at a major U.S. cancer centre
• 13 sites in the RADICAL-REACT multi-centre validation study
• Successful launch of AIR-DS Version 1.0.0, our first clinically deployable diagnostic system
• Strengthened U.S. presence with new operations, clinical leadership, and advocacy partnerships
• Early discussions underway with U.S. and UK venture funds
• Growing demand from CLIA/ISO laboratories, health systems, and cancer networks

Sierra is now assembling a senior strategic board to guide its next stage of national clinical and commercial scale.

THE BOARD ROLE (INVESTOR-LED)

Sierra Medical is seeking accomplished healthcare leaders, operators, executives, and diagnostics innovators to join as Board Members. This is a governance-level role, not an operational or consultative advisory position.

Board Members are expected to bring:

• Strategic oversight
• Capital-allocation mindset
• Pattern recognition from prior scale, exits, or platform expansion

This is intentionally structured as an investor-aligned body, where strategic participation is coupled with meaningful ownership and long-term alignment.

Board Members may contribute to:

• U.S. commercialization strategy and national market entry planning
• Scaling AIR-DS Lung across CLIA lab networks, hospital systems, and cancer centres
• Strategic positioning across oncology, diagnostics, imaging, and early detection ecosystems
• Multi-site clinical validation strategy and regulatory pathway planning
• Development of high-value partnerships with health systems, advocacy organizations, payers, and enterprise healthcare groups
• Strategic decision-making around platform expansion beyond lung cancer into additional spectral-diagnostics indications
• Governance, capital strategy, and long-term platform direction

Commitment:

Light, strategic-level involvement focused on periodic board discussions, governance input, and key inflection-point decisions.

Compensation & Alignment:

This is an equity-based Board role, aligned with an investment in the company. Board participation is designed for individuals who view strategic contribution and ownership as inherently linked.

At this time, we are not able to offer a cash reimbursement for this board seat.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & INVESTOR PROFILE

Candidates will bring 10–20+ years of senior leadership experience and meet both strategic and investment alignment criteria.

Relevant backgrounds include:

• Health system or hospital administration (senior or executive level)
• Diagnostics, CLIA/ISO laboratory leadership, molecular testing, pathology, or imaging
• Commercialization and scaling of medtech, diagnostics, or healthcare AI platforms
• Executive leadership roles (CEO, COO, CCO, President) in healthcare or life sciences
• Oncology, radiology, pulmonology, population health, or enterprise care delivery
• Experience navigating regulated healthcare environments, clinical trials, CROs, or FDA pathways

Additionally, candidates should have:

• Experience operating at a board, governance, or strategic oversight level
• Familiarity with U.S. healthcare economics, reimbursement frameworks, and care-delivery models
• A capital-allocation mindset, with prior exposure to angel investing, private equity, venture capital, or principal ownership
• The ability to guide high-level strategic decisions, rather than provide day-to-day operational support
