We're Hiring: Bioreactor Technician / Mech Engineer (Immediate Start)
Location:
Portugal (Lisbon / Nazaré)
Chainreactor is building modular, scalable bioreactors to power the next generation of biomanufacturing — from cultivated meat to advanced biomaterials. We combine hardware, software, and biology into an accessible platform for growing the future.
We’re looking for a hands-on builder
to help assemble, prototype, and refine our bioreactor systems—experience with bioreactors is a bonus.
What you’ll do:
• Assemble and iterate on mechanical + electronic components
• Work with CAD models (Fusion 360 / SolidWorks / etc.)
• Prototype using 3D printing, machining, and basic fabrication tools
• Wire and test sensors, pumps, valves, microcontrollers (Arduino / ESP32 / Duet / etc.)
• Help document builds and improve our hardware workflows
Why join us:
• Work at the frontier of biomanufacturing
• Real responsibility and visible impact from day one
• Small team, fast pace, no bureaucracy
• Flexible contract or internship options depending on experience
Interested?
Send a short intro + examples of things you’ve built (photos/GitHub/CAD files all welcome) to:
