You will play a key role in development of our antigen design platform, taking full ownership of its computational biology components from idea to deployment. This includes building and evaluating algorithms and methods for protein scoring and generation.
As our primary structural bioinformatics expert, you will inform key technical decisions, including the selection of the right bioinformatics tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Propose, develop, test, and integrate novel proteins scoring functions into our design platform.
- Build and manage data pipelines for processing and analyzing protein structures for ML model training and validation.
- Translate the latest research in computational protein design into platform features.
- Contribute to the design of de novo antigen proteins.
Your Profile
- 2+ years of structural bioinformatics experience in a commercial or academic setting.
- Strong Python skills for scientific computing.
- Proven track record of successfully leveraging computational tools to engineer proteins
- Hands-on experience with protein structure prediction tools (e.g., AlphaFold).
- Proficiency with Docker for creating reproducible environments and creating services.
Bonus points for:
- Experience in backend development.
- Background in immunology or virology.
- Experience in cloud computing (AWS/GCP), particularly serverless technologies (e.g., Google Cloud Run).
