Dimaag-AI is seeking a highly motivated Battery Test Engineer to join our Battery Engineering team. This role focuses on developing and executing comprehensive test plans to validate battery packs and modules for performance, safety, reliability, and manufacturability.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute battery pack and module test plans
Design and commission test fixtures and instrumentation
Perform test execution, data collection, and analysis
Identify and communicate failure modes and performance gaps
Collaborate with design, systems, and manufacturing teams
Support automation of battery test systems
Maintain test equipment and enforce safety protocols
Generate detailed test reports and documentation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field
Experience in Li-ion battery and battery module testing or validation
Strong understanding of electrical and thermal measurements
Hands-on experience with instrumentation and DAQ systems
Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW
Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with high-voltage battery systems
Familiarity with BMS and CAN protocols
Experience with battery cyclers and environmental chambers
EV or energy storage system background
