We are looking for a senior backend engineer to help us build out the scalable and secure backend for JENLY.AI.

Requirements:

• Experience building scalable Cloud applications on either AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong command of Python programming language**.**
• Experience with building well-designed RESTful API’s with FastAPI
• Experience building LLM-based applications with LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar frameworks.
• Ability to write unit and component tests for back-end components.
• Familiar with Git, building CI/CE pipelines in GitHub.
• Database experience includes PostGres or MongoDB and vector stores.
• Familiar with DevOps and configuration as code, such as TerraForm, OpenTofu or Bicep.
• Skilled at leveraging AI coding tools for fast prototyping with tools such as Claude Code, CodeX or CoPilot.

Preferences:

• Experience with authentication and authorisation frameworks.
• Experience with SQLAlchemy, Alembic
• Experience with Azure.
