Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and data-stores.
• Constantly improve our engineering processes, standards, and tooling.
• Work with frontend engineers to build features that users love to use.
• Help data scientists research and implement the latest data processing techniques and models.
• Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
• Contribute to our technical architecture as we grow.

Experience and Skills

• Experience building APIs or as part of a team building dynamic web applications.
• Ability to take on new technologies and languages.
• Familiarity with Ruby is a plus, but we value your ability to learn more.
• High standards for yourself and others.
• Pride in completing projects successfully.
• Understanding the value of standardized, fully tested code delivered in a CI/CD environment.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a bonus.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code patterns, particularly Terraform, is advantageous.

Location

While remote, you can work from our Dublin office, located in the impressive CHQ Building, just a 2-minute walk from Connolly train station and close to all major bus routes and both Luas lines. We're also near many shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes.
