About The Role We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our team, focusing on the development and scaling of Roboflow Inference systems. This role involves building robust APIs and runtime systems for image and video inference, which are integral to our platform and customer-facing services. You will be responsible for extending existing inference capabilities, developing new workflow features, and optimizing system performance to ensure reliability and efficiency. Your work will directly impact thousands of developers, researchers, and enterprise clients who rely on Roboflow for their computer vision needs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building production-grade software, with expertise in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and a solid understanding of AI/ML concepts. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve our workflows, integrate new vision models, and maintain SDKs and open-source libraries. Your contributions will help enhance our no-code workflow builder, improve latency and throughput, and ensure our systems are scalable and resilient. This is a high-ownership role that offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge computer vision projects, such as real-time video processing, PDF ingestion, and dynamic graph pruning, among others.
