We are currently looking for a Back-end Developer to join our team.
Location: This position is full-time based in Luxembourg.
Tasks
Design, implement and maintain robust back-end applications using Java and the Spring framework.
Develop and manage RESTful APIs and integrations with third party services.
Work closely with front-end developers, data scientists and product owners to align backend functionality with overall product goals.
Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure high quality, secure code.
Conduct code reviews and collaborate on security and performance best practices.
Implement security best practices to meet ISO 27001 standards.
Participate in security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Manage deployments on our Linux servers and Kubernetes clusters.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
Provide IT support and troubleshoot production issues as required.
Monitor system performance and suggest improvements.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and integrate them into the development process as appropriate.
Requirements
Required Skills:
3+ years of backend development experience, with strong background in Java and the Spring Framework.
Working experience with 3rd party integrations, working with APIs, and developing integrations.
Working experience with common development tools such as Git, Maven, JUnit, SQL, etc.
Familiarity with secure software development practices and DevOps.
Familiarity with developing containerised applications.
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
Nice to have:
Working experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Linux server administration.
