Job Brief

We’re looking for a hands-on Backend Developer who’s not only passionate about coding but also curious about product management. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to deepen their backend development skills while also gaining exposure to how product decisions are made.

You'll work closely with engineering, product, and customer teams to build integrations, debug live issues, read API docs, and contribute to our system infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient Java code and build scalable backend components
• Read and understand external API documentation to help build new integrations
• Debug production issues by analyzing logs and participating in on-call rotations.
• Test and validate APIs using Postman or similar tools
• Participate in on-call debugging sessions with customers to resolve real-time issues
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate requirements into technical tasks
• Take part in technical analysis, design discussions, and roadmap planning

Required skills and qualifications

• 1-2 years of backend development experience in Java
• Comfortable reading and interpreting API documentation
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Hibernate, or similar frameworks
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of product thinking or interest in pursuing product management in the future
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, log analyzers, and version control systems (Git)
• Good communication skills and willingness to work cross-functionally
