Ergo is seeking an Azure Solution Architect for a contract role in North Dublin . The successful candidate will design and implement scalable, secure and resilient architectures for cloud and on-premise applications.

You will have deep knowledge of Azure Cloud Iaas and PaaS Services and how they can be leveraged to deliver best in class solutions in areas such as Application Integration, Data Platforms, Infrastructure, Networks and AI.

This is a hybrid role with great day rates.

What will you do?

• Leverage Azure services (Azure functions, Logic Apps, Containers, Azure App Service, Azure SQL etc) to build scalable and resilient systems.
• Work closely with Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics, Business Applications and development teams to define cloud solutions in line with business need, architecture standards and principles and IT Security policy.
• Develop clear well-structured documentation that clearly define system components, interfaces and data flows.
• Evaluate and recommend innovative and emerging technologies and tools that can enhance business capability, productivity and competitiveness.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with IT and business stakeholders to better understand the need and ensure its being met through technical solution designs and specifications.
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing architectures to identify areas of improvement or identify risk.
• Ensure any deviation from technology strategy, principles & standards are properly identified, actioned, and communicated.

You should have the following:

• 5+ years experience in an architectural role
• Deep knowledge of Azure in relation to Application Integration, Data Platforms, Infrastructure, Networks, AI
• Design considerations within an enterprise hybrid environment
• Architectural certifications such as TOGAF / Zachman an advantage
• Azure Cloud Architect certification is highly desirable
