Ergo are seeking an AWS Solution Architect for a contract role in Dublin . In this hybrid role you will lead the design and implementation of a data-driven Geospatial environment for a public-sector client.

You will be responsible for orchestrating multiple existing components within an AWS environment to create an integrated, scalable, and secure platform for data ingestion, data processing and analysis.

What will you do?

• Define and govern the end-to-end technical architecture
• Develop cloud architectures, design solutions, and implement them on AWS
• Integrate existing semi-automated and disconnected components into a coherent, automated data processing pipeline.
• Design technical architecture to include Data ingestion, secure storage, scalable data visualisation tools
• Develop architecture diagrams
• Assist with migrating applications and data to the AWS cloud
• Optimise cloud systems for performance, cost efficiency, and scalability

You should have experience in the following:

• AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)
• Virtualisation, networking, and security.
• Scripting and automation tools.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., Terraform, Pullumi)
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• Earth Observation and/or Geospatial technologies an advantage
