About the Role
We are looking for a
hands-on commercial leader
to launch and scale our
sports field and golf robotics business
in Australia. This is not a traditional “country manager” role or a desk-based sales job. We need someone who can
build the market from the ground up
: identify target customers, generate opportunities, run field demos, close early deals, and help define the local go-to-market model.
You will be the
front-end commercial owner for the Australia market
, focusing on
football and rugby fields, training facilities, golf courses, schools, councils, and sports turf contractors
.

A consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities across
golf and sports field segments
Strong reference customers in
golf courses, clubs, and council-managed facilities
High conversion rates from
demo → trial → deal
Established partnerships with key turf equipment dealers and service providers
A clear and scalable commercial playbook for the Australia market
Build and manage the early-stage sales pipeline for sports field and golf robotics in Australia
Identify and prioritize target segments such as
golf courses, football/rugby clubs, schools, councils, and turf contractors
Develop relationships with key decision makers such as
golf course superintendents, head groundskeepers, sports turf managers, and council stakeholders
Lead on-site product demos and convert interest into field trials and purchase decisions
Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to quotation, negotiation, and closing
Define the Australia go-to-market strategy, including
direct sales, partnerships with turf equipment dealers, and service support setup
Work closely with technical teams to ensure successful deployment across diverse field conditions and locations
Gather market feedback on performance, efficiency, pricing, and product-market fit
Build strong reference accounts (e.g., flagship golf courses, major clubs, or council-managed facilities)
Maintain disciplined CRM management and sales reporting
Strong experience in one or more of the following areas:
Golf equipment or golf course operations
Sports turf / stadium or field maintenance
Professional turf equipment (e.g., Toro, John Deere, Jacobsen)
Line marking or sports field maintenance equipment
Experience working with
golf course superintendents, grounds managers, or sports turf professionals
Proven ability to
build a market from scratch
and win new business
Strong demo mindset: able to convert field demos into trials and sales
Willing and able to travel frequently across regions (metro and regional areas)
Commercially sharp, execution-focused, and results-driven
Experience working with
dealers, distributors, or service partners
in Australia is a strong plus
Familiarity with robotics, RTK, autonomous equipment, or precision turf technology is a plus
