We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of . This role involves ensuring database availability, performance, and security while supporting business-critical applications. * Install, configure, and maintain Oracledatabases across production, testing, and development environments. * Monitor databaseperformance and implement optimization strategies. * Develop and manage backupandrecovery procedures using RMAN . * Perform databaseupgrades , patches, and migrations to newer versions. * Ensure highavailability and disasterrecovery solutions for Oracle databases. * Manage useraccess , roles, and privileges to ensure database security. * Troubleshoot and resolve database − relatedissues such as locks, connectivity, and replication errors. * Write and optimize SQLqueries and PL / SQLscripts for application development and reporting. * Configure and monitor OracleDataGuard for replication and failover. * Document processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures. * Stay updated with advancements in Oracletechnologies and best practices. * Strong expertise in OracleDatabaseAdministration , including versions 11 g , 12 c , 19 c . * Proficiency in SQL and PL / SQL for writing queries, procedures, and scripts. * Experience with OracleEnterpriseManager ( OEM ) for database monitoring and management. * Knowledge of backupandrecoverytools such as RMAN . * Familiarity with OracleRAC (Real Application Clusters) and DataGuard . * Understanding of performancetuning techniques for Oracle databases. * Knowledge of databasesecurity , encryption, and auditing. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. * Oracle certifications such as OracleDatabaseAdministratorCertifiedAssociate ( OCA ) or OracleCertifiedProfessional ( OCP ) . * Experience with cloudplatforms (e.g., OracleCloud , AWSRDS , AzureDatabaseforOracle ). * Familiarity with DevOpspractices and tools like Docker or Kubernetes . * Exposure to NoSQLdatabases and BigDatatechnologies . * Knowledge of automationtools (e.g., Ansible , Terraform ) for database deployment and management.
