About KC Bio
Kapoose Creek Bio is building a new generation of medicines inspired by nature. Our platform combines unique microbial biodiversity with AI-driven discovery to uncover novel bioactive compounds and translate them into high-value therapeutic programs.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a hands-on, highly motivated microbiologist to support our microbial fermentation and natural products workflows. This role is ideal for an early-career scientist who enjoys working at the bench and is excited to contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative biotech environment.
In this position, you will execute microbial fermentation experiments across a range of scales, working with both liquid and solid-state systems. You’ll prepare media and cultures, carry out routine microbiology assays, and generate high-quality experimental data to support ongoing discovery programs. The role also offers exposure to adjacent chemistry workflows, including basic compound isolation and analytical support, providing a unique opportunity to work at the interface of biology and chemistry.
