Job Title: Associate Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description: An Associate Embedded Software Engineer will assist in the development, testing, and debugging of device drivers, libraries, and application software for resource-constrained devices and systems. This role involves working closely with senior engineers and hardware design teams to ensure seamless integration. The engineer will also contribute to code documentation and software user guides.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development, testing, and debugging of device drivers, libraries, and application software.
• Collaborate with hardware design and development teams for seamless integration.
• Contribute to code documentation and the creation of software user guides.
• Participate in the implementation of software requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Learn and apply best practices in software development and debugging.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Development Skills: Basic proficiency in C and C++ is essential. Knowledge of popular scripting and high-level languages is an advantage.
• Understanding of Embedded Systems: Familiarity with developing device drivers and applications for microcontrollers, microprocessors, and real-time operating systems (RTOS) is a plus.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Basic debugging and issue resolution capabilities.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and document technical details clearly.

Additional Skills:

• Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git), defect tracking tools, and test frameworks is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and datasheets for components.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.
