Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Kalamazoo, MI, for an Associate CAD Engineer. The Associate CAD Engineer will be responsible for creating and reviewing technical drawings and models using CAD software, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the design and development of automation and manufacturing systems. Additional responsibilities include assisting with product development cycles, performing design optimizations, and ensuring compliance with engineering and quality standards.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and familiarity with EDA tools
Strong knowledge of Physical Design and Mechanical Engineering principles
Experience with Cadence or other relevant software
Ability to analyze and optimize designs for manufacturing and assembly processes
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
Previous experience in a manufacturing or automation environment is a plus
