Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate CAD Engineer, located in Chennai. The Associate CAD Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed design and technical drawings, developing and optimizing 3D models, assisting in product design and development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for project execution. The role also involves analyzing design challenges and providing innovative, practical solutions in alignment with customer or project requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks, with the ability to create both 2D and 3D designs
• Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes, including experience with metal fabrication and machine integration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for design optimization and process improvement
• Detail-oriented approach to drafting, modeling, and troubleshooting complex designs
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
• Familiarity with robotic systems and process automation is a plus
