Role Description
We are seeking an Assembly Personnel Trainer to support a cutting-edge electronic component manufacturing operation.
The primary responsibility of this role is to train assembly technicians and assemblers on defined manufacturing processes to ensure consistent adherence to quality, safety, and performance standards. In close collaboration with Engineering and Operations, you will keep training materials, programs, and methods aligned with the latest specifications and process updates. You will also maintain training documentation, records, and certification status.
This role is accountable for enabling day-to-day mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations by ensuring the manufacturing team is properly trained and capable of executing to current standards. The objective is to ensure products are built safely, on schedule, and to required quality levels.
As the organization scales, the role may expand to include development of assembly and manufacturing work instructions, process improvement initiatives, and potential supervision of manufacturing personnel.
This is a full-time, onsite role in Emeryville and Oakland, CA.

Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
• 3+ years' experience in fine mechanical and/or electronics components assembly
• Experience in, or ability to develop and deliver, assembly personnel training using videos, photos, documentation, workshop training materials, and hand on training
• Must have mechanical aptitude and a strong ability to solve problems independently
• Training in related areas of mechanics and/or assembly
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs periodically.
• Bilingual speaker: English and Spanish
• Must have computer experience with: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
