About the Role

Job Title: Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build demonstrators and integrate technology in customer systems.
• Work with customers to understand their applications and integrate them with our technology.
• Define and develop demonstrator systems/applications for showcasing solutions.
• Bring state-of-the-art machine learning technologies (e.g., large language models, generative AI) to devices that would otherwise need to use cloud services.

Qualifications

• Knowledge/interest/experience in the field of personal mobile devices.
• Interest and basic understanding of modern neural network technologies (transformers, beyond transformer networks, CNNs, etc.).
• Experience in working with Linux and Android systems.
• Basic knowledge in C++.
• Good knowledge of application development in a high-level language (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Swift).
• Willingness to learn new technologies and tools, and apply them quickly.

Helpful but Not Required

• Experience in developing multimedia systems.
• Experience with embedded (i.e., bare metal, basic RTOS) software development.
• Basic understanding of embedded electronics.
• Experience in training and fine-tuning neural networks.
