Application Engineer (Mendrisio and Nuremberg)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Application Engineer to join our team based at our headquarters in Mendrisio and in Nuremberg and will provides first line and onsite technical support to company’s customers, and support pre-sales activities such as demonstrations, evaluations, benchmarking exercises, as well as provides expertise on best practice with company systems. The application engineer also collects and reports customer feedbacks and test eventual solutions before deployment.

The role requires availability to travel worldwide. The ideal candidate will bring a patient, organized, and problem-solving approach to their work and must have prior experience in a similar field.

Key Responsabilities:

Technical support for both internal and external customers in the areas of product selection and application;
Develop solutions for product applications;
Provide content for the development and updating of product literature;

Requirements:

Bas/Mas degree in Mechatronics Engineering or similar;
A proven experience of work in the same role;
Familiarity with Engineering disciplines, including Electrical, Electronical, Optical and Software;
Knowledge of SMT, robotics and electronics manufacturing will be considered a plus;
Availability to travel worldwide for field commissioning and/or troubleshooting work.
Excellent written and oral skills;
Proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
