The Anthropology Department invites applications for the following teaching position to be offered in the 2026-27 session.
Course Name/Number: Anthropology 4S03 / The Anthropology of Infectious Disease
Term: Fall 2026 (Classes start/end: Sept. 8, 2026 – Dec. 10, 2026)

Course Description
The critical examination of the role of infectious disease in the course of human history and contemporary society. Self-directed learning format.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will have (or be near completion of) a Ph.D. in Anthropology or a related discipline. They will be able to provide evidence of successful university teaching at the undergraduate level.
