56,000 - 70,000 USD
Purpose of the job
This position will develop and maintain a portfolio of cash flow models for structured finance transactions providing periodic analysis on behalf of various parties. Asset classes underlying an analyst's portfolio are comprised of residential mortgages, commercial mortgages, auto loans, student loans, and credit card receivables. The analyst will design cash flow models based on information set forth in governing documents for the purpose of preparing periodic reports for clients. These reports will incorporate a periodic analysis of underlying assets through remittance reports provided via other transaction parties. In addition, the analyst will be responsible for structuring the various tax aspects of each transaction through detailed monitoring of actual collateral aggregates and resulting bond payments and taxable-income calculations. The analyst will work with banks, servicers, issuers, Wall Street underwriters, trustees, asset managers, accountants, and attorneys on various aspects of the transactions. The analyst will be exposed to a wide range of transactions and will have the opportunity to work closely with clients and develop new business services.
