We are looking for an AML Consultant to join our team in Serbia . In this role, you will work directly with global clients, providing expert AML/CTF compliance support for complex cross-border transactions and helping ensure the highest standards of risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and review client and transaction data to identify AML/CTF risks.
• Conduct background checks and risk assessments on relevant individuals and entities.
• Monitor ongoing transactions and escalate any suspicious activities promptly.
• Prepare clear and accurate internal reports based on your findings.
• Collaborate with colleagues across compliance, legal, and commercial teams to strengthen AML processes.
• Support client onboarding processes, including KYC and enhanced due diligence where necessary.
• Keep up to date with global AML/CTF regulations, frameworks, and emerging risks, sharing insights with the team to enhance compliance practices.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• 5+ years of relevant AML/CTF, compliance, or due diligence experience with international clients, ideally in financial institutions, private equity, investment funds, or law firms.
• Strong knowledge of global AML/CTF regulations, frameworks, and best practices (FATF, EU, US, and cross-border compliance).
• Attention to detail with high standards of accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global/remote team.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with compliance technology tools, KYC platforms, or risk management systems.
• Exposure to high-profile institutional or private equity clients.
• Experience preparing reports for audits or internal/external compliance reviews.
• Familiarity with cross-border regulatory requirements and client onboarding for multi-jurisdictional transactions.
