We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer Consultant to drive the development and delivery of AI solutions across our client engagements with a focus on Agentic AI solutions. In this hands-on role, you will work directly on complex ML systems while mentoring and enabling two Junior Machine Learning Engineers to scale our capabilities and deliver best-in-class solutions. You will balance SOP development, technical documentation, technical execution, rolling up your sleeves to code, debug, and ship production-grade solutions, bringing a strategic lens to technical decisions that shape our approach to enterprise AI solutions. You are both a strong individual contributor and a technical leader who can unblock your team, establish engineering standards, and accelerate AI Solutions unit delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical delivery of AI solutions business unit from discovery through to development, deployment, ensuring enterprise-grade quality and performance while maintaining direct hands-on involvement in critical technical implementations.
• Accelerate fine-tuning and optimization of models for performance and scalability while driving the development, delivery, and upkeep of technical documentation and playbooks; building the operational excellence of the business unit.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into business processes and critical workflows.
• Represent the business in client engagements and workshops with a demonstrated ability to communicate with technical and non-technical senior stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop the junior ML engineers on the team, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and supporting their professional growth to build a high-performing ML engineering team.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science to ensure the application of state-of-the-art techniques.
• Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear visualizations and reports.

Qualifications REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field, relevant Master’s Degree, and 3+ years of experience is preferred.

Technical Experience

• 3+ years of Machine Learning Engineering with the ability to demonstrate experience deploying multiple production-grade models, an understanding of unit economics, and ROI focused design. Experience preferably gained in enterprise client-facing roles or in enterprise organisations’ technical teams.
• Hands-on expertise in building, training, and deploying Machine Learning models (end-to-end) with strong software engineering practices (version control using GitHub, testing, continuous integration/continuous delivery).
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R paired with deep expertise in Machine Learning frameworks (e.g, TensorFlow and PyTorch) and libraries (e.g, scikit-learn).
