The Role – AI Software Engineer We are looking for an AI software engineer responsible for developing and maintaining AI systems, ensuring they are reliable, efficient, and aligned with end-user needs.

You will join a team of AI engineers working at the frontier of applied AI. Together, we’ll continuously push our AI stack to the state of the art , experimenting with the latest models, architectures, and techniques to deliver real impact to the IP professionals.

Your work will directly contribute to keeping DeepIP at the forefront of innovation — as the most advanced and trusted IP assistant on the market .

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade agentic AI systems integrating LLMs and custom models.
• Develop robust components, including prompt management, post-processing, and RAG-based retrieval.
• Ensure reliability and quality through testing, CI/CD, and Clean Architecture practices.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, observability, and model behavior in production.
• Collaborate with end users and the team to align technical decisions with product vision and continuously advance our AI stack.

Profile:

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering, strong first experience in startups and/or strong educational background.
• Proven hands-on experience in complex backend development and/or AI development using Python.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools like Cursor, Github Copilot, Codex, …
• Knowledge and experience with LLM SDKs and libraries (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, Google GenAI, LiteLLM, Langchain), and with LLM tracing (Langfuse or another solution).
• Interest in Intellectual Property or willingness to learn about the domain.
• Optional skills: knowledge of search systems, experience in Machine Learning / Deep Learning (particularly with NLP and/or Vision).
