Duarte is a seasoned GTM Leader and Board Advisor with over 11 years of experience from Fortune 100 companies and startups, having led elite marketing teams at Coca-Cola and Standard Chartered.

About the Role

As AI Engineer , you lead the development of AI solutions and algorithms that power DOJO’s core product and deliver measurable value to our customers. You will define and implement cutting-edge models and systems while maintaining a pragmatic focus on high-impact outcomes. This role is for a pragmatic AI expert who excels at applying cutting-edge research to deliver real-world impact.

In this role you will:

• Start by focusing on pragmatically building the core AI agents, on top of our Data layer, to help in market research, strategy, content production and performance optimization.
• Design and develop advanced AI models, pipelines, and multi-agent systems that serve as the foundation of a world-class intelligence platform. You will blend state-of-the-art research with pragmatic engineering to deliver transformative workflows and capabilities for our customers.
• Drive continuous model and agent improvement by developing robust evaluation frameworks and maintaining disciplined R&D processes. Build and scale a best-in-class evaluation and training pipelines to ensure consistent and measurable improvements.
• Collaborate with the Data team to unlock the full potential of our strong data layer, architecting a world-class Data Engine that powers continuous model refinement and delivers superior outcomes for customers.

You might thrive in this role if you:

• Have 5+ years of professional experience in applied AI/ML engineering or research, with a proven track record of deploying production-grade models and systems.
• Are experienced in modern AI evaluation and creating data-driven feedback loops for continuous model improvement.
• Possess strong programming skills in Python and expertise with leading AI frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, Hugging Face) and agentic frameworks (e.g. LangGraph, AutoGen).
• Have hands-on experience developing and fine-tuning LLMs and building LLM-based applications and multi-agent systems.
• Demonstrate a pragmatic approach to turning research breakthroughs into customer-facing solutions.
• Excel in agile, innovative environments, solving complex problems with precision and excellence.
