Responsibilities
You’ll be the core engineer developing our AI chat companion platform — an intelligent, emotional, and multimodal experience combining LLMs, memory, and real-time 3D rendering.
Build and scale full-stack features for AI companion apps (web and mobile)
Design and integrate conversational AI, persona systems, and emotion engines
Develop APIs and infrastructure to connect LLM logic, audio and 3D assets
Implement user profiles, persistent memory, and dialogue histories
Integrate with LLM and multimodal APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, ElevenLabs, etc.)
Optimize system performance and latency for real-time interactions
Collaborate with product, design, and research teams on rapid prototyping
Requirements
3+ years experience in full-stack development (Node.js / Python + React / Next.js)
Experience building mobile apps using React Native or Flutter
Experience integrating LLMs or GenAI APIs into production environments
Strong understanding of backend architecture and database design (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar)
Familiarity with real-time communication (WebSocket, REST, GraphQL)
Curiosity about human-AI interaction, emotional modeling, and virtual companions
A startup mindset—ready to learn fast, fail fast, and iterate
Flexibility to work non-traditional hours and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
You must have valid work authorization to work in the United States or Korea (e.g. citizenship or permanent residency)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Kubernetes, Redis, or message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
Familiarity with 3D rendering pipelines (Unity, Three.js, Unreal)
Knowledge of speech synthesis, emotion detection, or AI memory systems
Prior startup or founding-engineer experience
Korean / English bilingual communication
